2022 will see the return of the Twin Town Challenge for a fourth and final time. Offering an early May Bank Holiday filled with fun challenges and the chance to raise money for a fantastic charity, Twin Town’s previous participants are our best ambassadors. See what past teams have to say about their experience.
Twin Town 2016 was a fantastic experience for Sumo Digital, a brilliant networking experience and a great team builder. Our business is so closely associated with the ground-breaking work of SpecialEffect and I’d strongly recommend that more games industry teams join us for the fun and games in 2020!
Ian Richardson – Business Development Director, Sumo Digital
The Green Man Gaming team were so proud to be able to take part in the Twin Town challenge 2016 and raise funds to help Special Effect reach their target of £250,000. We had a fun and challenging weekend driving from the UK to France and back all for a great cause. The work that Special Effect do for gamers with disabilities is amazing and we would encourage everyone to get stuck in with the charity.

I can’t think of a better way to spend a weekend…….having a great time, with great people and raising money for a great cause. Having experienced and been proud sponsors of TTC16 & TTC18 we have already pledged our support for 2020. TTC18 surpassed expectation; the organisers of TTC do an absolutely fantastic job in creating this wonderful weekend experience. I highly recommend you get involved in TTC20, I guarantee you will have a great time whilst being part of a group of like-minded individuals, hell bent on having fun raising an enormous amount of money for a fabulous charity.
Nick Jones – Focus Oxford Risk Management
Oxford Products first participated in the Twin Town 16 with one car. We were so blown away with the whole experience that we felt we missed a trick! As such, we invited more key members of our team to join us and entered three cars for 2020, becoming a sponsor too. Twin Town has evolved into an extended family/community for all of those taking part and is a wonderful thing to be involved with, especially given the fact the event also raises a huge amount of money for such an amazing charity.
Andrew Hammond – Oxford Products
An opportunity to do something unique and fun, while helping a fantastic charity to raise awareness of the great work they do. Driving a 20 year old Jag, costing less than £500, around a race track surrounded by 50 other special cars in Croix en Ternois was something you can only dream about. The smiles and occasional element of fear was classic and something I’m proud to have been part of.
Neil O’Regan – Shawcity Ltd
An experience that I cannot stop talking about. It’s something I would not normally have done, but I had a fantastic time and I’m so pleased that I put my name down. I met some lovely people and the atmosphere was exhilarating. You only have one life live it! The experience is one I will not forget.
